The web-based Valuation Exchange allows lenders, panel managers, surveyors and their staff to access information regarding current and pending instructions wherever they are and whenever they need to.

Accessing the Valuation Exchange
Surveyors log on to www.valuationexchange.com with their own usernames and passwords. Instant access is given to statistical information, news items, new jobs and current job details relating to their office.

Access to instructions
New jobs are offered throughout the day and surveyors have 3 hours to accept or decline them before they are automatically repanelled to another company.

What happens next
Once a job has been accepted and an appointment has been made, the lender is notified of the time and date. Full information regarding individual jobs is available at all times.

Completing the instruction
When the valuation report has been completed, the details are entered onto the website, validated and then sent to the mortgage centre or panel manager within 30 minutes.

Finally an invoice is prepared on behalf of the surveyor, and at the end of the month one invoice is sent to the lender for all valuations submitted in that month.
